THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY.

Beyond doctrine and tradition, this project explores the Church's role in shaping communities, fostering belonging, and influencing human flourishing.

This project began not with a camera, but with a question. Growing up in a faith-filled household, the Church was more than a building—it was the center of community, the provider of purpose, and the compass for a well-lived life. Yet, as the world changes, the role and perception of this ancient institution are shifting. I wanted to understand why.

What Remains is a cinematic exploration of faith in the modern age. It is an attempt to document the human flourishment found within faith communities, while honestly addressing the fractures that have caused many to step away. As a filmmaker who identifies as Christian, I approach this with deep respect for the tradition, but as a documentarian, I am committed to welcoming every perspective - the devout, the questioning, and the cynical.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING.

The story of the Church is still being written, and so is the story of this project. Be a part of the conversation as we explore the future of faith and community.
